For over 50 years, Matterhorn Village has been a cherished tradition at the head of Wallowa Lake. Nestled among the pines near the end of the road, our family-owned corner of paradise has grown from quiet cabin rentals into a destination full of classic lakeside fun and sweet memories.

While our roots run deep, we’ve added a few favorite traditions over the years:

• Scoops Ice Cream Shop (Est. 1995): Famous for generous scoops of Tillamook ice cream served up in waffle cones made fresh daily.

• Mt. Pines Adventure Golf & The CandyShack (Est. 2011): A classic mini-golf course built for family fun. Check in at the repurposed CandyShack to grab your putters and treat yourself to our famous house-made fudge and warm candied nuts.

• The Matterhorn Gift Shop: Still offering something for everyone—from Wallowa Lake souvenirs, apparel, and local swag to toys for the kids and forgotten travel essentials.
